Driver & Vehicle Documents Guide
Staying Compliant on the My Ride Platform
The Compliance section in the My Ride Partner App helps you stay on the road by managing all the essential documents required to drive. You can upload, update, and track both your driver and vehicle documents directly in the app.
Automatic Reminders for Expiry
To make sure you never miss a renewal, the app will send you email and push notification reminders at:
- 30 days before expiry
- 15 days before expiry
- 1 day before expiry
If a document expires, you’ll still be able to log in to your account - but you won’t be able to go online or accept trips until your documents are renewed and approved.
Reminders on the App Home
Your app home screen will also display any:
- Upcoming renewals
- Missing or expired documents
This ensures you're always aware of what needs action.
Managing Driver Documents
To upload or renew your driver documents:
- Go to the Drivers section
- Tap on the document type (e.g. Licence, DBS, Training)
- Enter the document reference number
- Select the issue and expiry date
- Upload from your gallery or take a photo in-app
Once submitted, your Mission Control team will review the document.
You'll receive a notification when the document is either approved or rejected with an explanation.
Managing Vehicle Documents
To manage documents for the vehicle you're driving:
- Go to Compliance
- Vehicles
- Select the required document (e.g. MOT, insurance, private hire licence)
- Enter the necessary details
- Upload the document or take a photo
All vehicle compliance is linked to your active vehicle, so make sure you update the correct one.
Why It Matters
Staying compliant:
- Keeps you legally and safely on the road
- Avoids service interruptions
- Protects both you and your passengers
- Ensures continued access to job offers
If you have questions or need help with a rejected document, contact Driver Support through the app.
